The Homestead/Florida City
Chamber of Commerce has divisions and committees
designed to address the many facets of doing business in South
Miami-Dade county. Below is a brief introduction
of each, as well as their leadership people, missions
and meeting schedules.
 Business/Education
- Chair, Jerome Williams
Meeting Schedule: 1st Wednesdays, 8am at the Chamber
Mission: To bring educators and business people
together working to increase awareness and appreciation
of our community schools with the goal of providing a
qualified workforce, and to provide useful workshops and
seminars for small business members.

and mentoring programs.
Governmental Affairs
- Chair: Elizabeth Moscynski
Meeting Schedule: 1st Mondays, 4pm at the Chamber
Mission: To promote a coordinated effort with local,
state and federal governments to address core issues of
local significance for business development and
retention.

 Marketing -
Chair: Renee Reichling
Meeting Schedule: Last Tuesdays, 4pm at the Chamber
Mission: To increase awareness of Chamber
businesses, integrate business with the community and
its visitors, and to work together with other
organizations to attract new business to the area.

Military Affairs - Chair:

Thursdays, Noon at Homestead Air Reserve Base All Ranks Club
Mission: To enhance the
quality of life for military personnel and their
families in our community.

 Operations Division
- Chair: David Peyton
Meeting Schedule: As needed
MISSION: To assist the Executive Director in keeping the
bylaws and the business of the Chamber of Commerce
within the guidelines of the board of directors.
Red Carpet
- Chair:
Sherry Sierveld
Meeting Schedule: Last Wednesdays, 4pm at the Chamber
Mission: To welcome new and potential members, and to
encourage members who are not participating or may be
dropping.
Special Events - Chair:
Larry Roth
Meeting Schedule: 2nd
Tuesdays, 4pm at the Chamber
Mission: To raise funds
for the Chamber and to create and maintain a lively
interaction among members.
